Grace all highlighted and twisted out!

Following my Aveda experience, I have been rocking my hair in twists and I decided to go for a twistout to see how it would come out with the highlights. I invested in some perm rods from Sally's beauty supply store and used them for my ends so they would be curly and not frizz up like they usually do. I sprayed Grace with some Twisted Sista curl refresher spray and sealed with Moroccan Argan oil and voila:

I got a bit carried away, I know!

Without further ado, here are the results of my twistout:

To be honest, I am not in love with the results. I think the highlights look awesome but the curls are not so defined and Grace is still feeling really hard and crunchy from the awful stuff the stylist put in her at Aveda (when she was trying to do a twistout). My Mom felt my hair and was like "ugh!" LOL, thanks Mom, you hurt Grace's feelings! Ah well, I'll probably co-wash tonight and then try again, and of course, post the results. Laters!
